All good things to make your life easier and more beautiful.

First up:

 Nume-wet-to-dry2

NU ME

WET & DRY $225

WHAT :: Take your wet hair, dry AND straighten it in one swoop.

Now this is a tool that makes mommy happy.

My Brazilian has totally washed out.

My mane is a frizz-ball/Jew-fro/post-pregnancy-hair-loss extragevaganza.

I haven't had time to get a BB.

This is a perfect in-betweener.

I took my slop of a damp mess and it was dry and sleek in no time.

If you're going to spend on a good dryer and straightener, this is the perfect way to go.

MAD LOVE.

(Here's the official shpiel)

NuMe's newest and most exciting iron actually allows you to style when hair is still damp, no blow drying required. With precision engineered 1 ¾ inch floating plates, this new safe-for-damp-hair system releases moisture through special steam vents, evaporating excess water without drying out hair. Get supremely straight hair while getting gorgeous glossier results in an effortless pass. Best for curly hair.

The NuMe Wet & Dry Professional Styling Iron uses a unique alignment system that ensures ideal contact between your hair and our tech-tourmaline ceramic plates. Our ceramic plates emit negative ions which seal the hair cuticle for quicker, smoother results. Our perfected ceramic-tourmaline blend creates an even and gentle infrared heat that safely removes moisture releasing it through steam vents. The Wet & Dry will help you create your perfect hair profile without the damaging heat of a blow dryer or a hefty blowout bill. Now you can style wet or dry in less time with fewer products and no wear and tear.

that box over to your right – yah, right there. POLYVORE.

April 11, 2011

ok, i have no idea what polyvore is but they sent me and email asking me to install this widget and telling me i'd make $5 off of everyone that registers for some contest. or something.

sounds good to me. have you seen how much organic baby food costs these days?

anyway, i started playing around, dragging pictures around, having no idea what on earth i'm doing or why for that matter so if you see a hideous collage of sebastian hair products and a red shirt, just know i was just dragging objects for fun.

anyway, i'm sure there IS something really cool to be found there and $1000 to win, so check it out if you have a few minutes. or, if you're stoned or something.  looks like stoner fun.  not that i would know.

ah! here it is:

Invite your readers to create a rock star look for Maja with at least Sebastian Color Ignite product in the set.  Readers must create a complete look.

Ok, so do that then. 🙂

SANTA MARIA NOVELLA

This original ancient apothecary was started by the Dominican monks in 1210 to dispense their healing and soothing remedies and lotions to the nobles and royalty across Europe, opened its doors to the public in 1612.

Since then Santa Maria Novella has become world renowned for its quality body and face care, perfumes (creating the original “Water of the Queen” for Catherine de Medici, later popularized under the name “Eau de Cologne”) and legendary products for the home (Including SMN Potpourri).

Santa Maria Novella is privately owned and all products are still meticulously hand made (the original onsite distillation and manufacturing rooms have been converted into a museum) according to recipes that are centuries old.

All ingredients are local and organic and all products (including distillation of fragrances) are made onsite in the Florence workrooms as much as possible.
